Hi everyone,

I'm looking for advice on health insurance for my parents. My dad is 49 with high blood pressure, and my mom is 46 with diabetes. They have government insurance, but for serious medical issues, we prefer private hospital care.

I'm searching for a plan covering pre-existing conditions (high blood pressure and diabetes) with strong coverage for private treatment. A 25 lakh cover is what I'm aiming for. Policy Bazaar seems helpful for comparing plans, and ICICI Health AdvantEdge is on my radar.

Any advice or recommendations from your experience? Thanks!
I will give you only one advice, do not hide any known facts. If proven later, you will never get any claim. State everything truthfully. Sometimes underwriters will come back with counter offers by overloading your premium. Pay the extra premium and ensure peace of mind. In my personal opinion HDFC Ergo is the most preferred operator.
