Hi,

I need to make 10L payment in one transaction into SBILife

I have a month time, pls suggest best cards for that payment for maximum value back

I can apply any card and get it, since i have time.

I have short listed

axis vistara infinite (3 business class ticket + 40k points)
axis reserve (75k points - can be converted to 60k vistara pts)
SCB ultimate (33.3k points)
axis magnus (6k+25k = 31k points)
Amex Plat Travel 40k Points + 10k taj voucher
RBL Insignia (20k worth vouchers)
axis airtel (10k cashback)
sbi cashback (10k cashback)
hdfc infinia (5k points)

axis airtel won't give 10k. you've capping for that

I have read much about magnus so I think the calculation goes this way

10L spend Basic RP - 12 per 200 - 60K points
1L spend milestone - 25K Points
Total atleast 85K points worth 5:4 miles ie 68k Miles straight.

Plus you get joining benefit, PP and annual fee waiver at 15L spend. I expect you will be renewing this insurance every year.

Apply for reserve OP, if you can spend further 15L on it. Definitely worth a card as you will get it for free.

SC Ultimate will give you unlimited 3.33%. You can redeem points for gift vouchers. Though Amazon/Flipkart not in GC list.

You may also try HDFC DCB which has milestone benefits.

Dont opt for limited pay imho. Always take regular pay

Yes, you are right. Thanks for the correction, it's 6K per transaction and The Milestone benefit will be there so total will revise to 31K Points.

Using Amex Platinum Travel card you can reach the 1.9L + 4L milestone. It will give you 15K + 25K MR points and 10K Taj voucher. Though you won't get regular MR points because insurance is in exclusion category.

Just curious, how do you know you meet the criteria for all cards? And when you say "any card", does it only include the ones in the list you provided, or cards apart from the list as well?
