Hi All

I have an insurance of Aditya Birla of Rs 1,02,000 due by January 2023 end.

I have the following credit cards-
1. SBI Cashback
2. SBI Simplyclick
3. HDFC Millennia
4. Axis Flipkart
5. ICICI Platinum
6. ICICI AmazonPay
7. IndusInd Legend

I will also be using HDFC Platinum Debit card for the 1% additional Cashback for CC Bill payment.

Any suggestions on how to maximize the cashback?
All I can think of is 2% via AmazonPay card on Amazon.

I see Aditya Birla Health insurance is available as biller for bill payment in Amazon Pay. Then best is to purchase Amazon Gift cards using SBI Cashback card which will give you 5% cashback. Add these cards in Amazon Pay balance and pay using this balance you insurance premium.

Thanks a lot your help. Is there a limit to how much worth of GVs can we purchase? As I will have to purchase 10 GVs of 10k each, will that be fine? Or will there be any issues?

No. Using AmazonPay Credit Card

Yes, insurance premium payment up to the value of INR 1 lakh is only permitted on Amazon. It is hereby clarified that any insurance premium payment for an amount equivalent to INR 1 lakh or above will not be processed on Amazon.

So I don't think you will get any option to pay more than 1L premium using AmazonPay. I am not sure if this FAQ is incorrect now and if AmazonPay allows to pay more than 1L premium amount on Amazon.

I don't have experience about Axis Flipkart but you should get 1.5% cashback for direct payment on Aditya Birla website.

Someone on other forum paid about 1.05L-1.07L Premium from Apay balance.
Still its very risky. Your 1L would be stuck.

I also got aware about this upper limit in this community. I haven't tried such payment.
The max payment I paid was 1L only. So its just heads up and be careful and think before proceeding.

try paying using any card and see if amazon is allowing you or not. If you reach till OTP page then amazon is allowing payment above 1L.

You can buy GVs from lot of places. Amazon, Paytm, GyFTR, Magicpin. You can buy GV from normal gyftr.com also.

Do update us here when you pay your premium, if Amazon allowed to pay more than 1L.
