Insurance premium using Amazon pay balance

Insurance premium using credit card on Amazon has convenience fee.

But can anyone confirm if we load Amazon pay balance to required premium amount, would it still charge any convience fee?

I can get Apay balance using amex cards + smartbuy.

Want to be sure before committing to load large sum.

You're trying to buy or renew?

Some websites charge additional fees for paying with credit card payment so it could be that(if renewing).

I have a insurance payment of above 1L coming up. I'm thinking of paying it with Apay balance by buying voucher using either Regalia Gold or Tata Neu HDFC. Can someone confirm i can still do that or there will be any issue or convinence fees?

So I want to do a payment of 3.06L premium payment of HDFC Life.

HDFC portal charges fees + rewards are cap of 2k with regalia gold.

Payzapp doesn't charge convenience fees(tried reaching till otp, no fee), afaik that payment via payzapp goes through BBPS, so does this payment go to payzapp wallet via cc and then to hdfc life via bbps or directly?

I would love an option via amazon GV but amazon's T&C says available bal can't exceed 1L but a reddit post confirms that's not true. I am guessing everyone would be afraid to try adding more than 1L GV's, so no one tried hence no one...

It might be possible but you'll have to take a risk to add GV's and hope they allow above 1L. I am guessing may be when u add gv's worth more than 1L and then immediately pay it for the bill, it might not be an issue. Amazon says "anytime the bal is above 1L not allowed" but may be it's like add GV's worth more than 1L but midnight they put the restrictions? (again, it will be on trial basis).

If you do end up trying this, do update us here. I have few LIC payments coming in march month. 2 Bills, one is above 1L (1.1L to be precise) and one one is for 40k.

There is no restriction as such. I have paid an insurance premium of 1.10 lacs last week using Amazon Pay balance.

There are no limits on third party websites. For insurance 1 Lakh limit might be applied by Amazon.
