Internet Banking login for APay

pag

TF Buzz
Hey there
I have got an APay card, but there's no Internet Banking (IB) enabled on it. I was told by ICICI customer care that I can't have an IB login for just holding the card. The only way to cross check the billing is via statements. Anyone in similar situation or is there a way out?

Best

Update: I recently gained access to iMobile after several calls to customer service. They first deleted my Pockets account, but my Pockets ID was still linked to my phone number, so I couldn't login with my CC Login ID. They finally unlinked the Pockets and configured the CC today. It wouldn't have taken 20 days, but I became lazy once I was able to log in via Internet Banking. 😛

You have access to icici cards using their net banking portal. However I never accessed their net banking after first time activating it, I just installed icici banking app and got registered there. I track my all icici cc through this app only.

I am in same boat like you were.

Just called CC and they told me to wait for 1 working day to get it updated. They have shared me my CUS ID and request id already.

They also told me that you don't have to delink your number from Pocket wallet.

So @n00b how many days it took to get your mobile number updated in your user id?

You can try waiting 3-4 days, and if that doesn't work, call customer service and ask to be connected to the iMobile team, they will help you.

I think you will be unable to login until you delink your Pocket wallet. iMobile will continue to log into Pocket wallet until you unlink it. But that is just my guess.

... grid verification is required only for banking a/c customers only ...
That grid verification stupidity is the single reason my ICICI SB account will lie idle with just a few rupees till the day I close it! What additional security does this great feature provide that saner banks did not see any need for?!

Writing here for an update for others:

I called CC the agent told me to wait 1 working days. They asked me to not to delink pocket. So they shared a request id (1 PM).

Next day morning (9AM) - I can login to internet banking as well as iMobile without any issue.

Pocket deactivation not required for me. (May be they have fixed the glitch).
