IRCTC Rupay HDFC on hold

Dear friends,

I applied for IRCTC HDFC Rupay card and got notified that my application is put on hold stating I already have a DCB. I have salary account with HDFC.

Should I drop the idea or how should I pursue? My RM is clueless as always.

Please don't create duplicate threads for the same topic.
It is very difficult to get a second from hdfc if applied via their own site. You can request over mail, and try to convince them, else just forget about it.

Ask them to issue irctc card as floater card. Might work

Tried convincing HDFC cards team on email. Wont be getting this card unless an offer is available for me.
They are pushing me to get the virtual Rupay card. I am least interested in this card.

Just wondering why you are looking for irctc card when you already have dcb which will get you 10% off in form of reward points?
