IRCTC + Smart Buy - Is it just me, or getting a desired train seat on Smart Buy is more difficult compared to IRCTC website?

Guys, I tried booking train from Payzapp Shop section and got “SB IRCTC” as merchant name when I selected Payzapp option to pay (further got my CC to swipe and pay)

Can anyone confirm if this merchant name fetches 3x points?

SB = Smart Buy.

You should get the points. Call HDFC support to confirm. I did the same to get peace of mind, the first time I used Smartbuy IRCTC. Now I'm confident it works every time.

PS Similar merchant name works for different websites via smartbuy.

* Sb Ct Hotel Bangalore In - 10x for Smartbuy Cleartrip Hotel. Not sure if Bangalore In is because of hotel location or if cleartrip has office in Bangalore. 🙂
