Is Axis Atas the real king of all cards when it comes to travel? Possibly beat Magnus and Reserve

NeerajNegi

TF Premier
I have 3 axis card and I really love them, Best under 25k+ GST budget

1. Axis Vistara Infite- 1440% ROI
2. Axis Magnus - 2683% ROI
3. Axis Atlas - 3520% ROI ( Doesn't include Silver, Gold, Platinum Benefits) + 21333 INR Bonus benefit if done travel

The reason for not getting a reserve card is high joining fees and annual spent requirements.

So Atlas cards give 2 Points per 100 INR spent.

MCC code(Hotel, Airline, Travel Agencies etc) - Travel Category gives 5 points per 100 INR spent

So It basically gives 10 points per 200 spent as compared to reserve and Magnus its low as they give 15 and 12 respectively

Here come the transfer 10 atlas points = 20 Vistara points

if spent 15 Lakh in year = 75000 Atlas points = 75000x2= 150000 cv points

+ 20000 cv points benefit by spending 15Lakh

New Delhi to BLR Flight cost 8000 INR OR 7500 CV POINTS

So the calculation goes 170k/7500 = 181000 INR = 3520 % ROI

ROI = Net income / Cost of investment x 100.

((181000-5000)/5000) *100

Want more?

With a sufficient number of Airport services and Pickup Services the ROI goes > 3520%

Thanks Let me know What you guys think?

Here is simple calculation with 7.5 Lakh on normal spend and rewards

Closing the deal when?
This card just is for someone right now who can find some business or spend in a hotel in any way but they have to find the way and then this card is beneficial.
I can't let people spend money using my pan like for each it would be 15lakh x infinite ...... ahhahaha and Income tax officer at my home

If your expenses amount to approximately 25 lakh ,
then you will accumulate 190,000 miles (including a bonus of 40,000 miles) for the Reserve card and 120,000 miles (including a bonus of 20,000 miles) for the Atlas card.
If the 25 lakhs are spent on forex, then you would accumulate 340,000 miles for the Reserve card.
On the other hand, if the 25 lakhs are spent on travel, then you would accumulate 2,70,000 miles for the Atlas card.

I don't think it would be a wise decision if you have 8-10 cards because if you just spent 25 Lkah on reserve then your expense will go to 40-50 Lakh.

As I own Amex plat travel
Infinite
Magnus
mrcc
sc
induslind
etc
atlas too

At least then I need to spend 20-40 Lakh more on other cards

Does hotel spend in US also earn accelerated points on Atlas?
I have to spend 3 to 6 months in US so I will have a huge hotel and restaurant bill. Thinking which card to use.

I still a person should have axis magnus and hdfc infinia only
Considering milestone benefit of axis magnus if u can meet that then its the best… and hdfc infinia because i rlly like hdfc terms and simple use and unlimited airport lounges for primary and all add on card holders.

Absolutely Magnus is excellent till they have 25k bonus points every month. If we calculate opportunity cost is 10k + GST , here we have 5k +gst .

But any way Magnus is still good better than reserve
