is Indusind Indie megastar account the best way to earn cashback on international trips without super premium cards?

Hi All,

I've a foreign trip coming next month and maybe one more this year. So, looking for best way to minimise forex charges and earn cashback/rewards

I don't have any super-premium card and I don't think I need travel-friendly card (Airmiles) as my airline trips are very minimum. So, I would most probably like to convert them to cashback points.
So, this brings me to Indusind Signature Debit card.


I got to know that with Indusind Indie Megastar account, we will get Indusind Signature Debit card that has 0 forex markup fee, accelerated rewards and 0.5 gems/100 spent on indie app. (1 gem = 1 Rs)

0 -5k = 1 RP
5k-10k = 2Rp
10k - 20k = 3 RP
20k-30k = 4RP
30k - 40k = 5RP
40k+ = 6 RP
With capping of 3000RP/month

I know its a debit card and not credit card but still, with 0 forex markup and reward points and gems, does it make the best way to minimise forex spends and earn good cashback?

Are there any better options or any issues with this approach?

I am especially looking for ATM withdrawal charges. Like forex charges of any other kind and what to select local or foreign currency when placing ATM withdrawal.

Indie signature card has atm withdrawal charges...most users mentioned that it does not work...go for exclusive debit card
