Is there a way to apply for BOB credit cards without Income Proof?
I want to apply for Snapdeal Credit card, mainly because of its 2.5% cashback on groceries and departmental stores. But during the application it asks for Income documents. i dont have to RN, i am too lazy to get them. is there a way i can apply for this card without income documents?

For salaried and new to bank customers they'll give with card to card without any income proof. You'll have to share other card photo hiding cvv and statement and there will be home and office verification

Yes.. I too had the similar expectations originally...
but recently a couple of our comrades @Nishan11 , @Deepak_Shetty got the card approved within one week.. that too purely on C2C basis..
Inspired by their experiences I applied.. Actually BOB card was not in my Wishlist..

Anyway , lets see what happens..

May be work profile also matters. I am working at Central PSU company. I think @Nishan11 also working under state government. May be they are giving preference to government related companies.

Yes, definitley this might have played some role.. as normally it takes enormous amount of time for the decision to be out in the case of BOB cards..
that was the main reason it was not in my wishlist at the first place..

Anyway I applied on 06/04.. and just now I sent an enquiry about the status of application via email..
Lets see what they have to say ..

So there was no email from Bob cards but late evening there was another hard CIBIL hit.
Suspecting that it is BOB I checked tracker again and got this message
"Your application is pending as some of the required documents have not been submitted. Kindly Email all your documents (Photo, PAN, Income Proof, Current Address Proof) at documents@bobfinancial.com clearly mentioning your application number."

So 2 CIBIL hits and no approval yet. Not going to chase them anymore. Bhaad mei jaai bank aur card dono.

It is not fair at all ..hitting CIBIL twice..
Physcial verification done or not??
If I remember well.. no physical verfication also .. right??

No physical verification, no phone calls no email nothing.
All the documents submitted already on website,crm email and document@bob email.
Arre if they don't want to give card it's ok, but hitting CIBIL twice? No email and idiotic updates.

And you can't message them on Twitter as their account is not verified

It is simply atrocious .. not at all professional..
Try calling them and ask what had happened ...

My blood will boil even more.
Who knows if it is blessing in disguise.
The problem with these type of players is that everything is very good , best rewards etc till you face any issue.
Once you face an issue then you realise the true worth of a good bank.

Yes .. this is so true..
I tried calling them a few times in the last week..
First, same recorded message try calling them again after 3 days, your application in process.

When I talked to a human: same crap.. Our tema will contact you, if needed. application in process..

Even one time one lady said: MY team will contact you if needed, as if she is leading this CC team...

outrageous...

Most of us already have good portfolio of cards and BOB offers nothing too special.
Points on wallet load is something that can be withdrawn anytime, and they have updated their TnC already, It's just a matter of time they implement it.
May be I am sounding sour grapes but I am not going to chase them anymore.
