Issues with HDFC Infiania add-on card

I recently cancelled my add-on card and requested for a new card (so that the add-on and primary users have different card numbers). I got the new add-on card immediately. But I am facing many issues right now.

1. The add-on's number is configured as the primary's number: I requested the bank to update, it has been almost a week now and there is no response from them.

2. Not able to add the add-on card though "My Cards" when logged in from add-on's account.

3. Not able to set the dometic/international limits for the add-on card when logged in from add-on's account.

4. I still see the old add-on card in netbanking under "Set Limit for Add-On Cards"



Anyone else facing similar issues?

I wasnt able to see addon in the addon person's number too...

however when I registered the card through primary holder netbanking...i was able to add it and manage it

transaction otp still came to the addon member only after setup

I registered though net banking but for some reason they set the primary’s number for add on user as well.
 
Can you see if the primary can update the limits?
When doing this from the add on what error are you seeing?
As primary, I can update limits. When done from add-on, I get the error clearly stating that only primary can modify the limits.
I had got the add-on via offline process and I haven't faced any issues; different card and PP number, otp going on to add-on number, add-on able to use mycards and payzapp.

Hi

Cancelling the add on and requesting a new one - does this give a different card number for add on by default? Did you chat or do it via net banking?
 
Same issue here. Got add-on card for my wife. Not able to add card to her "my cards" webapp or netbanking.
Is this how it works? Applied for an add on card first time.
Will the transaction OTP comes on the primary applicant mobile number or the add-on mobile number? That's the main concern, rest i think about setting up card is one time activity which we can live with managing with my "mycards".
 
Is the primary purpose of getting the add-on card with different number is to get additional amazon vouchers limit. Is this working ? Please confirm. I am also looking to enhance my limit on Amazon after the recent devaluation.
 
HDFC lacks consistency.
- Most add on cards have the same number as primary.
- Some people got different numbers when they upgraded from another card any some (including me) got the same number.
- Some cancelled and re applied and got different numbers but both cards were linked to the primary mobile number.

I need my wife's OTP's to come to her number so she can use the card freely. HDFC can't seem to understand that.

Incidentally I'm having a similar but different problem with ICICI Coral. Card numbers for Primary and Add-on are different. Primary has been added to my GPay. Wife is not able to add her card to her GPay as her card is linked to my number.
 
I am having the same problem as you posted for HDFC add on card, not able to register in mycards. Did you find any solution?

Ok, problem solved, the add on card was able to register on add on card holder's HDFC mycards website. After doing this, I was able to set Card limit on Primary Mycards website. The OTP is also going to Add on holder's phone number, so all good.
