ITC 1+1 on Infinia

I thought I would use the ITC 1+1 buffet offer on infinia. I called the concierge on Friday and asked them for Saturday. They politely denied that minimum requirement is 48 hrs approx and my booking cannot be taken.

The offered for Sunday brunch and I asked them to proceed. Couple of emails and SMS confirming the booking came in.

Sunday I visited the hotel and showed them the email and booking confirmation. To my amazement, my name was no where listed. Another person came at my table and again asked for details and took a photo of my phone with the email having details.

Finally when I asked for the bill, the waiter got me a bill of 5600 for 2 people. I said I had 1+1 offer, he went 2-3 steps back, did something in the tablet and came forward again showing 2800 only.

I gave him the inifinia card and he swiped and everything cleared.

My point is what is with the 48 hrs pre requisite when my details are not with the hotel, also the people whom I spoke with didn't give me the bill, but rather a new person gave it to me and he did something in the tablet to bring the bill down to 1 free so does that mean people can directly walk in to ITC and just mention it?

Many restaurants got tie up with swiggy, groupon, dinein etc for 1+1 buffet and other promo.

Maybe they had to make sure which offer you were using. And gave you that offer afterwards.

May be your right. My finding is though Infinia says 48 hrs, Im thinking its not needed and walk-in also will be accepted. Thats what I'm feeling, I might be wrong.

When I mentioned to the waiter that I had 1+1 he did ask Infinia and stepped back to make some changes. So my point is there is no checks being done whether there is any pre-booking or not. and I doubt if the guy actually carefully observed if I gave infinia card or not before inserting it into the POS.

this just tells me which properties are enrolled for buffet offer....how do I know which particular hotel/restaurant inside the property provides buffet options?
You need to contact the hotel to find the buffet offering restaurant and book. Also the concierge confirmation team will tell you as well.

Something similar happened with me, I tried to book but it was only 24 hours so the concierge said they cannot take the request.
Maybe useful to call the ITC Hotel restaurant directly & ask if they accept the infinia 1+1 directly as well.

Yes, you can but the overall limit of 1 buffet per month per Infinia card holder account will apply (add-on and primary card holder account will be considered as one). However, in order to place this request you will be required to call the concierge team using registered mobile number of primary card holder.
