ITC GREEN POINTS VALIDITY?

I wasn't aware of this - got an email today to say the points have expired.

Is there an option to extend by contacting ITC? Thank you.

Ya.. Just mail them to extend the validity of your expired points by one month...

People have used this option in past.
Their validity got increased by Support team.

And then you can follow any approach mentioned in this thread to further increase the validity of Green Points.
 
I have booked ITC grandGoa using points b/w 14 and 16 september ?
Unfortunately , I cant make it . Is there way I can reschedule this booking ? I can see for other dates points req is less than what I booked ?

Should I cancel my booking and rebook? Will there be any cancellation charges ?

or should I request hotel for rescheduling the booking without cancellation ?

I got the reply from Club ITC - We regret to inform that we shall not be able to re-instate the lapsed points.

Earlier members have used this method.. I don't why they haven't done in your case. Maybe now they are not doing it anymore.🤔🤔

call the customer care n request for cancel they will cancel it. Rescheduling depends on the availability on the new date which u select or give them

No - I emailed them twice and got the same response - the points can't be reinstated.

Have sent a message via Twitter / X to ITC Hotels Cares earlier today - received a reply that someone will contact me - not received a call or email till now.

I am trying to find the email ID some senior person - not been successful so far.

They should at least inform the members few weeks before the expiry of points - it is literally a daylight robbery in my view.

They have this weird point in their tnc of expiry without prior notice. They can easily implement a solution for this. Just a way to loot people.
 
Just an update

I contacted them again via the website (after the emails and message via X) and also raised a compliant in the consumerhelpline online.

Subsequently, I received an email to confirm that the points have been reinstated with an extension of the validity by 2 weeks - I transferred some to Marriott and redeemed the remainder as ITC vouchers.
