Jewellery shopping from a local store. What are my options for credit card payment?

Planning to buy jewellery from a local, trusted shop in coming days. Is there a way to maximise return with credit card?

These are the cards that I have right now:
SBI cashback
HDFC millennia
Tata neu infinity
Onecard
Federal imperio

Regarding MDR, is this something I need to clarify before payment? How much are MDR charges generally?

Small store so it's unlikely they'll accept gift card

Try finding a store which doesn't impose charges on CC payments.

Usually 2% for CC, 3% GST, 8--10% making charges
If they don't charge anything for CC use, then making charges are much higher.

I've used CC in branded shops, they didn't charge any MDR

Don’t mention that you’ll use AMEX right away.

Some shops have E gift cards in amazon with some offers. If you have AMEX you can use it as Milestone benefit. Not sure if it gives Cashback using SBI Cashback.
