There is a catch in claiming 50 days free airfiber. Jio offers only 30mbps speed plan free for 50 days. In case, you need a higher speed plan, you will have to pay for the respective plan and there won't be free 50days included.

I’m planning to take the free JioFiber trial by paying ₹600, which will be refunded as ₹100 vouchers each month starting from the 7th month. I will be using this connection only for internet purposes.
So, those who have taken the JioFiber 2-month free trial, could you please confirm this:

After the trial ends, can I switch from the ₹706 plan (₹599 + GST, given under the 2-month trial) to the ₹399 plan (30 Mbps, internet-only, no OTT benefits)?

I contacted Jio customer care, and they told me that I can switch in the 3rd month.

However, the engineer who called me for installation said that I cannot downgrade to the ₹399 plan and that I must continue with the ₹706 plan every month.
