Kiwi neaon memebership is chargeable

Hello Everyone,

I am planning to apply for kiwi credit card. I have heard neon membership was free for first year. I am not sure about current scenario.
Is this still free or do I need to file the charges of it.
Is there any way to call/connect customer service kiwi

Membership fee: The membership fee for this programme is Rs. 999 (exclusive of taxes) per membership per year, effective 3rd February 2025.

As a limited-period offer, the membership fee will be waived for customers who applied for the Yes Bank Klick credit card prior to 31st January 2025; if the customer applies for the Neon membership on or before 15th April 2025.

Please note: This does not apply to re-applicants of the credit card after 31st January 2025.

Also, customers who had already enrolled for the Kiwi Neon membership prior to 31st January 2025, will continue to enjoy the benefits, without any payment, until the yearly validity of the membership.

When I applied it showed free neon plan, but now in app it shows chargeable. So its not clear yet, but I read somewhere that till 31/Mar/25 they are giving free neon plan.

same with my card approved yesterday. and today in the app its showing 999+ gst for neon membership. one thing is good i got 285000 limit.

It's free if you apply using a referral. I am not sure if they would consider after the application.
