Kiwi Yes bank credit card Q&A

Hello everyone,

I talked to kiwi customer support regarding their reward policy https://www.gokiwi.in/rewards-policy-v2/

and even did some trxns myself and some my friend did and I found much information on the credit card. Feel free to ask your questions too but from what I know I'll write here

My limit is 3L so I can get only 1% rewards. Now many confusion here, is this 1% in INR (Cashback claim) or Kiwi's? So my frnd confirmed this and also I confirmed from customer care too. These are in Indian rupees. So basically if your limit is 3L then you can get 12,000 kiwis per month max from your rupay card scan payments. 12k kiwis means 3k rs. (0.25 inr per kiwi or 1rs per 4 kiwis).

Now, I want to know from cc, are milestone benefits (3%/4%/5%) included in the per month 1% limit?? He said No. It is excluded. So let's say u did 1.5L trxn in a month. That means you will get 12k pts i.e 3k rs. Now as the 1.5L means you reached your 5% milestone, so you will get additional 3% next month. This 3% is extra benefit and it is not included in the month that you did the trxn on neither it is included in the month when you received the extra 3% (2% already given instantly and 3% later when milestone reach) benefit.

Additionally I asked CC, what does the term "month" constitutes?? is it like 1st to 30th or is it billing cycle?? He said it is monthly not billing statement cycle.

Also I asked CC, when we did normal upi trxns on kiwi app like bank to bank and sometimes we get kiwis on that too, are those included in that 1% limit per CL???? He asked seniors and then said No, that is excluded too. Means you get that extra benefit and he said anyways normal upi trxn from bank to bank "rarely" get benefit so it is excluded.

I asked him tons of other questions too, which he answered. The only downside of this card is we get 2% after milestone lapses. Also neon membership will prolly cost 1k next yr.

As per tnc on their website , it's 1% kiwis and not inr. I think cc is misguiding

Nope. It is 1% INR. My friend did a trxn of 75k yesterday and he got 6000 kiwis for it. His limit is 4L, if that was the case, he wouldn't have gotten more than 4000 kiwis.

I can show you screenshot, hence why I got shocked how my frnd received 6000 kiwis in one trxn. I emailed CC and CC even called me to confirm the same that it is 1% inr.

Kiwi card works only if the merchant has agreed to pay MDR for payment by Rupay cc.

Some small shops and merchants do not want to pay MDR
They have the right to decline MDR commission, in which case no Rupay card will work.

idk abt merchant agreeing but as long as any scan merchant is allowing of rupay cards, kiwis are fetched. I am tbh loving this card for now.

@lhgeek here's the SS for a payment my friend did whose CL is 4L.

can see he got 6k kiwis for 75k trxn in single date. He even redeemed it to the bank right away LOL. So yea 1% is inr not kiwis for sure.

What was this transaction of 75000?

How does one transfer Kiwis to the bank account?

Is this card better rewarding than Tata Ney Infinity Rupay (used through Tata Neu app)?

For UPI, ofcourse yes but only till 1.5L but even after 1.5L milestone you still get 2% compared to 1.5% on neu but 2% is done on multiples of 50 trxns on kiwi where as that isn't the case on neu.

tbh I don't prefer or wouldn't prefer to use neu just coz of a complicated card and shitty app. I have neu card, I will prolly close it before next renewal, HDFC made the most complicated card ever with neu. I hate it. I will prolly use it at tata outlets but except that nowhere else.
