Guys i don't have any account right now in kotak.But i am thinking to open 811 account. If i open this account Will i be able to open any other like 10k mab account in future if i want to open another account in same bank or maybe salary account?.
Will i get pre-approved offers for credit cards?
Please help me in clearing this query?

Nah bro at most they will ask you to close 811 but if you have any other account beforehand they will not let you open 811

Nah you can’t open 811 anymore once you have opened other account in Kotak even if you close it.It’s for new customers Only.

What if i have only 811 and want to open and another new account for whatever there mab is savings or salary account. Will they allow me to open another account after holding 811. Basically savings and salary account?

Don't know about that bro as kotak 811 has different customer care number they will have mapping issue if you have two accounts under same mobile number

I'm using 811 and had no issue
Contact customer care or visit branch for your specific use case scenario

Personally I don't open two accounts in the same bank simultaneously

You can upgrade your 811 zero balance account into other accounts by contacting your branch manager 👍

But it's unnecessarily ... Kotak has no additional features for higher variant account holders

Don't know about Kotak, But if you have a salary account with HDFC Bank and maintain AQB, MAB and balance, they may offer you LTF credit card. My friend got one.

Addressing your question , All banks have two types of customer identifiers one is bank account number and other is Customer ID (or CRN- Customer Relationship Number in case of Kotak. One can open mutilple bank accounts with a bank and all the different accounts will be clubbed under one single Customer ID by the bank. i.e. bank account numbers will be different, but customer ID will remain same.
