Kotak 811 Cash-not-back

Second month using Kotak811 and was curious as to when my cashback would be credited. FYI, uses it for retail transactions at POS machines which are grocery stores. Now bank is asking me to travel to grocery store in a different city to verify their MCC.

P.S. they also did not update their MCC list on website and want customer to imagine that they could be added later.

What's ur issue here? Is Kotak excluded Grocery category also or does the merchant where u swiped card had different MCC code which is already excluded!!

Kotak apparently cannot share MCC. They are asking to get the MCC from merchant and then confirm with them.

One was a bag D2C website, so def. not education as Razorpay won't allow that. The other was a grocery store with the grocer name printed on receipt (I lost it) and couldn't be education/fuel in all probability.

The main problem is that Kotak isn't willing to share MCC code for transaction on their end
