For the January month CB I emailed the grievance redressal and they said that the changes of T&Cs would be considered in effect from 1st January and then I raised it to PNO and got the same response that the T&Cs would be effective 1st January and I clearly asked them the reason of not following standard industry practice of informing the changes in T&C well before in advance instead they informed afterwards. How are they differentiating policies for every customer.

They should give CB to all or none why is it customer based.

They denied me as well, and I guess everyone who emailed them. A friend of mine here told me that due to many rbio complaints they've told someone that they'll be giving jan cb in april that's why everyone is receiving now.

Such a feature would have been a god's grace for everyone and would have been widely known if it was teh case.

Note:
DC does NOT work on Woohoo for gift card purchase. I tried purchasing Firstcry giftcard but it failed multiple times.
Works on Amazon as I did a direct purchase few days back.
(So far I have used this card on Fuel Pump, Amazon and Karachi Bakery, will report whether I get CB on this)

Anyone? @guest_123 has been consistant in his statement. Technically it should be otherwise. He or his friends don't want to turn the table as they thought it is not worth the headache. I have used enough of my energy fighting kotak on the previous issue, which almost everyone have given up back then.

Not just kotak 811 super, my friend also didn't get cb on amazon GV purchase from amazon using his hdfc swiggy card either & in both cases the GV amt wasn't even much (around 1k in 811 super case & around 5k in swiggy card case). Looks like many banks have started assigning a different mcc to GV purchases on amazon.

I don't have hdfc Swiggy. But afaik, that card is not eligible for 5% rewards on agv purchase. I may be wrong, because I am not following that card.

amazon has many many merchant names with different mcc, thats the catch
