Recently I opend KOTAK 811 account for My Relative,
Intially the KYC was on hold and account was on FREEZE due to agent HALF KNOWLEDGE,
I complained to all levels but problem not resolved , Later I escalated to senior management mails in 8Hours my problem was solved and my account was converted to full kyc account, and I got the intimation from them the same .

NOW MY new PROBLEM IS

1) unable to set UPI PIN in any other 3rd party apps like phone pe, bhim e.t.c (KOTAK 811 IN app UPI payments working, since app asks to press MPIN ) ( so freeze is removed)
( Error coming as please kindly check card details entered, ) I entered it correctly as shown in virtual card

2) There are two apps kotak banking and KOtak 811 app.
when I trying to use kotak banking app - after mobile verification - after immediate login- it is showing me a banner to install kotak 811 app, when we press the banner, it is redirecting to play store to install the Kotak 811 app if already installed it is directly opening KOTAK 811 app.
so UNABLE TO USE KOTAK BANKING APP


so please some one give your experience to solve this problems

As far as I understand your query...
1. I think you have not activated your debit card. Try to activate your kotak DC if not done already, you may also try aadhar method to add your kotak full kyc 811 account in third party upi apps. Your kotak app upi working because validation of account not required there. But for third party you have to validate your account (usual route is active DC).

2. If you have Kotak 811 account then you supposed to have access of kotak 811 app only. Kotak regular app is for those who have other type of accounts and not classified as 811 or 811 super. Though some may have access in main app but that is rather unusual.

I feel loosely framed threads like this deserve merging with main thread (link given above). Otherwise main thread content which already has the answer of such queries won't easily appear in search option related to such queries. Search option in TF might become a mess in future. Again this is my opinion. If not merging then please frame the question /title correctly.

I am a Kotak 811 a/c holder too and used Kotak main app without any issue all these days (opened when Paytm got banned). Recently I cannot view Kotak 811 a/c details from banking tab, not even virtual debit card. Complained and got resolution stating bank is promoting 811 app and all 811 a/c holders will now have to mandatorily use 811 app only and for this they are blocking user access in Kotak main app in a phased manner.
