Kotak Mahindra Is Bank Now Accepting New Credit Card Applications(Edit:- Still Under Testing)

Kotak Mahindra Bank has reopened credit card applications following the RBI’s ban lift.


Customers can apply online at cards.kotak.com.


Most of the cards are now available on the RuPay network.


Edit:- Applications are still under testing phase. Do not apply for cards as of now.

Update:- Received a call from Senior Executive. He stated that bank has started accepting applications from 1st April. But processing may take more time than usual.

I have Kotak IOCL since 2023. Whenever I try for another Kotak card, it says I am already having a credit card. Yesterday tried for League Platinum , again same issue.

i am an existing customer , applied for indian oil credit card , completed VKYC by evening , but got rejection mail by night

need to mail them and ask the reason

but i already have 3 cards with kotak and 1 virtual credit card -> not sure if that's the reason

i didnt get any message from cibil yet for inquiry anyway

god only knows , previously didnt ask any VKYC but this time they asked , not sure why

@kiwi195 , i have something to add here , since you applied for a card based on FD you might have got the application approved

we would require someone NTB or existing to apply in normal process without any pre-approved offer and once they get approval -> then we can confirm that kotak has started issuing new cards or not

I applied for addon cards for Kotak and they called and said yes they have resumed applications. Also in a WhatsApp group, one guy was negotiating for the HNI card, Kotak Solitaire and they were responding to him so they have definitely resumed issuance
