Bro don't fret too much. If you clear your total outstanding and let the amount get settled in a day or two, then only request for billing date change. Then no problem will occur.

They told me the outstanding on the card should be zero when applying for date change. Don't know how they even took your request. Btw, why ever do you use 24k+ on a 25k limit card?!

Looks like they don't offer 1st as billing date? I wanted to change to that! I was told the card should be 6 months old, so I'm presently carrying on with 5th.

NO need to use 6 months bro.
Yearly once we can change.
As per RBI guidelines the date have be selected by us. If they given it randomly. We can change even before the first bill generation also (I meam when card was approved )

There are other which dont ask to clear outstanding also.
In kotak they are asking to clear outstanding
May be to avoid like the above person situation I think.
