Awesome so this is well confirmed that JioFinance working for HDFC Platinum Visa Debit Card.

I am still waiting for Canara Setu. I did bigger transactions today.
1st transaction was 2 days back.

Will it work for Mastercard ? I think not, right ?

Got points for credit card bill payment on jio finance using idfc wealth debit card on 27th July. I asked cc also the MCC is utility 4900.

You will get it. I received the same in SMS. The MCC is utility 4900.

Do a test payment of 10 rupees or something. If you get HDFCBILLPAY OR BBPSBILLPAY in the netbanking, then you will get points.

If you get RENTALBBPS, then you won't.

Simple as that.

So far only Axis/SBI/SC gives RENTALBBPS. Rest banks are working absolutely fine.

Think its an temporary issue, will get fixed in sometime. Meanwhile use unipay.

Incorrect info

Did transaction on 25th. Got it today. So 4 days after transaction.
Paid to Amex MRCC via HDFC BILLPAY using ESP DC.
The statement was showing
"POS **************** HDFCBILLPAY"

Not for all cards. Some cards yes and some cards so hdfcbillpay and some show bbpsbillpay.
