Ongoing issues
(1)
For Non-BBPS CC billers (like Amex or SC), you cannot use SBI Unipay and most other apps. You can load Amazon wallet or payzapp wallet using debit cards which give points on Wallet load (like HDFC Millenia) and pay using the bill desk website. Alternatively, you can use cc issuer NEFT/UPI details as well.
Amex: https://www.americanexpress.com/in/...-statements-and-balance/making-a-payment.html
SC: https://www.sc.com/in/credit-cards/payment-option/

(2) HDFC Billpay service has changed it's MCC, so avoid using that. Use Unipay instead.
(3) Indus dc points are not regular, so will have to wait and still no guarantee that you will get the points or correct number of points.
(4): Some have reported idfc dc is blocked while account is active. You can complaint to idfc, it gets solved in 3-5 days.
(5) SBI Unipay does not allow to pay SBI CC bill when you are logged in for some users. So, dont login and you will be able to pay SBI CC bill.

I paid a kotak bill using HDFC DC via Airtel app and money is deducted but don't see the txn any where in Airtel app and it did not reflect on kotak side also..
Does this happens regularly?
yes i did face this issue last month of icici payment but money got refunded to account after 3 days.. i didn't face this issue before that.. may because of resent BBPS updates.
and Airtel customer service the worst for the payments

Yesterday I tried and paid a portion of my CC bill (Yes Bank's) through couple of mediums using Indus Pioneer MasterCard:
1) Paid on Payzapp. Went through successfully and was almost instantly settled to the card account. Merchant name was PZCREDITCARD. Not sure if points will be credited.
2) Unipay - Tried couple of times a small transaction. Entered OTP, post which got the error message stating "Failure". Merchant name was SBIUNIPAYDBCARD. The failed transactions are not visible in "Transaction History"
3) Canara Setu - Same thing as Unipay. Tried couple of times a small transaction. Entered OTP, post which got the error message stating "Failure". Merchant name was CCAVENUE.COM Utility. The failed transactions are visible in "Transaction History".
4) Cred - On paying with Debit Card, merchant name is "CREDCCBILLPAYMENT". Pretty sure points will not be credited. Looking for inputs here. PS: I didnt proceed with the transaction.
5) Today morning, I gave a shot to Unipay again (with a small test transaction). This time transaction went through and for a while the page showed status as "success" with a ref. number and before I could take a screenshot, it tried to redirect to another page. However, it was stuck on "Please be patient while we are processing your payment. Do not close the window or press refresh or browser back button. Bank was debited with the amount.
Moreover, this transaction is not even visible under "Transaction History", nor did I get any email or SMS confirmation from Unipay of the transaction status. Further, the payment was not settled in my card account! I have emailed them, and from what I have read, reply should not be accepted.
I have also called SBI's Wealth customer support team and they too dont have contact details of Unipay's customer support team nor they can access any of those transaction. She asked me to send an email to them. DUH! Then she asked me to call Indus' customer support team and when I emphasised saying that clearly the error is on their end since Indus account has already been debited she said if the transaction fails, it would be refunded in T+1 day (which I fail to believe) and if its not refunded I would need to call again and ticket would be raised.

Questions:
1) Is it usual for Unipay to not record transaction in their "transaction history" section?
2) What is the settlement time for Unipay?
3) Would reward points be given for transaction done on Cred with merchant as "CREDCCBILLPAYMENT"?

Conclusion:
I usually am very sceptic of using services that do not give our customer care number. This time I however let emotion get over logic and it back fired. Though a small amount, but lost the time value.
I have used Cred regularly in past, though it is not the perfect product, it however gets the job done. What I have experienced over a million in payment on Cred is that any high value transaction (dont know the exact number, but for me whenever it is in 5 digits) they payment is NEVER settled immediately and I always need to raise a ticket. It shows it would be credited in 3 working days and on further raising the ticket, I usually get an option for a call back. Here, with Cred atleast there is an option to speak to a human if one can navigate through their stupid help bot! Further, the person on the other end is at least trained enough to listen, understand, comprehend and speak. Further, they say Cred will take the responsibility of any charges, monetary penalties - ofcourse not of affect on credit score; provided it is done on or before the due date. However, in couple of hours, this transaction does go though on raising the ticket. Maybe they highlight so that their team can manually look into it and process urgently 🤔

I have used around 4.8L last month with my mom's IDFC Wealth DC should I proceed with her account again for this month or should I use my account? I mean I don't want any issues with rewards being blocked and all so...

PS: I used my account in June for around same amount...
