Ongoing issues
(1)
For Non-BBPS CC billers (like Amex or SC), you cannot use SBI Unipay and most other apps. You can load Amazon wallet or payzapp wallet using debit cards which give points on Wallet load (like HDFC Millenia) and pay using the bill desk website. Alternatively, you can use cc issuer NEFT/UPI details as well.
Amex: https://www.americanexpress.com/in/...-statements-and-balance/making-a-payment.html
SC: https://www.sc.com/in/credit-cards/payment-option/

(2) HDFC Billpay service has changed it's MCC, so avoid using that. Use Unipay instead.
(3) Indus dc points are not regular, so will have to wait and still no guarantee that you will get the points or correct number of points.
(4): Some have reported idfc dc is blocked while account is active. You can complaint to idfc, it gets solved in 3-5 days.
(5) SBI Unipay does not allow to pay SBI CC bill when you are logged in for some users. So, dont login and you will be able to pay SBI CC bill.

As per a post in Reddit which was last updated on Auh 12th, there are no cashback points for paying CC bills using HDFC platinum DC. Even in Aug first week, I did not get any cashback points for paying the Axis ACE bill using HDFC DC.
Because HDFC billpay stopped working that week. It seems like Redditors are still on HDFC Billpay, and perhaps still waiting for the cashback :hehe:

Read this nice post by @6ix9ine

Thank you so much. Somehow this post did not pop up in my search.

Edit: Just paid the Axis Ace bill using SBI Unipay with HDFC platinum DC.

yeah, apologies. I was expecting a sms from AXIS. Just checked the AXIS app and the payment is reflected there.
Same goes for HDFC as well. One of my friends paid a bill at 2:00 PM, but the confirmation message came at 12:00 AM.

BBPS integration has helped with instant settlement of amounts, but banks couldn't fixed their instant message delivery.

SBI is great in this regard, as they have always been on BBPS and consistently send messages instantly.

Yeah, I started using Reddit a few months back and majorly use it to get credit-card related updates. For major things, I come to TechoFinno. 🙂

Faced lots of issue in Aug first week with HDFC Bill pay. Got too many errors while adding cards. Once a few were added, got too many errors while making bill payments for those cards. 3 payments were successful and then 2 of them, got failed after 2 days.

So I had a very bad experience with HDFC bill pay.

HDFC billpay is still reliable platform among the other platforms, but not for rewards anymore. So, eventually you had to came back to TechnoFino :hehe:

I was a longtime CRED user for tracking CC statements and paying CC bills. It has always been reliable for me in terms of CC bill payments. After CRED's fake promotion saga happened on Reddit in July/Aug, I revoked my email permissions and tried to move to HDFC bill pay. then ultimately had to use CRED only.

I am yet to pay ICICI and Apay ICICI bills. My Apay ICICI and Coral Rupay CC have the same last 4 digits. BBPS does not fetch any bill for Apay ICICI CC. Probably will use CRED for it but has 85k bill.

Call the customer care team.. tell them to block and reissue any one of the card. I did the same and it worked fine after that. Just tell them last 4 digits are causing the issue to fetch the bill.
