Update on SBI CC Bill Payment on Unipay, Canara Setu and Airtel through Debits cards ( Tried Indus visa & master, HDFC platinum visa & SBI Rupay physical DC ) :

SBI CC payments done through these portals are getting Hit or miss. Sometimes bill payments are getting successful and sometimes after deducting from DC, payments are failing. In case of failure, Unipay giving multiple error - Payment failed, Session expired or simply blank infinite loading page with no details. Canara Setu is stuck on processing page while SMS comes that your bill payment is failed and Airtel simply display and sends SMS of payment failed.

Tried small amount like 20K, 25K and also big amount like 87K on these platforms and got SBI CC payments failed. Also, other times got few transactions succeed for SBI. Other banks payment is going fine through BBPS from these portals.

My Advice : If you’re doing payments of SBI CC then do in small amounts or avoid using these platforms until SBI fix this issue ( Yes, issue is between BBPS and SBI ) as Mainstream platforms like Paytm will process refund faster in case of failure than these sites and have much better support.

Avoid doing payments in the late evenings. I faced timed out issue while fetching SBI credit card details in all the platforms and one time when it fetched successfully the payment got stuck. I will suggest try in the daytime only.

Folks, for me SBI Unipay was acting weird today, too slow now and then.

So tried Canara Setu for CC Pymt.

The merchant name post in money deduction SMS with HDFC Debit Card same as "THE CANARA BANK LIMITE"

Will this fetch points? I read that merchant name should be "CCAVENU..." ?

Me & 1 more guy didn't receive the points this month for Canara Setu Payments.

I suggest you to use SBI Unipay or Airtel for now.

I got the cashback for Canara Setu - transaction done on 15 Oct

Dont login to unipay. Use quick pay

I don’t login for any CC bill payments on Unipay and use Quick pay only as transactions mapped under the mobile number asked during bill fetch but this is common error happening for SBI CC that I pointed out.

As I said not all transactions are failing but I tried multiple times in last few days and got sometimes success and other times failed.

You can do nothing except waiting at least for 3 days

Generally Credit Limit increases instantly. But don't worry sometimes it takes time.
