Why is that? The reliability and success rate of a payment gateway really matter. Even if it's an app from one of the banks, I wouldn't be surprised if there are reports of transaction failure leading to payments going past due etc

Mails like this resulted in fixing unipay issue. Its a loophole and people really felt they are entitled to it.

I used SBI VDC yesterday to pay my CC bill on unipay. I can see the points earned in the transaction history section but total point count hasn’t increased. Did you face similar situation?

The bad news is that the HDFC Platinum debit card is almost useless now.

For example, if you have an Airtel Payments Bank account, you can load money using the HDFC Platinum Visa Variant Debit Card and earn 1% cashback...
