There's only 3 other service providers, check if others are available also or not.

If we have 20000 limit of a cc and we add 1000 extra and made a payment of 21000 on eCommerce site we have to pay overlimit chargers can anyone confirm please?

Turn over limit facility off then try to do txn.

Over limit charges occurs when u spend more than ur limit and outstanding is more than ur limit.
Since u already paid 1000 extra and paying extra 1000 shouldn't attract over limit charges.
However some banks does NOT let u pay more than ur limit even if u prepay some amount, ( example bob cards)
Some banks does let u pay more than ur limit if u prepay some amount (idfc).

From my experience few months ago with idfc,I think, I tried to pay from a cc more than my limit and it didn't go through at first then I turned overlimit on then did the txn but I wasn't charged extra for over limit usage since my outstanding wasn't more than my limit as I prepaid some extra amount.

But these terms and conditions vary bank to bank. It's ur choice whether u chose to proceed with the risk or not.

They must notify properly before bringing any changes to benefits.
Its a standard practice.
