LE in old HDFC card based on new Card C2C

I've an HDFC card that is a year old with less credit limit. Now I got new card with a higher limit. How can I get my limit enhanced in my old hdfc card?? I've used that card a lot.
I've emailed and called them to do so and they denied my request saying it's not possible for old cards c2c limit enhancement.

You can send your Salary proof to Chennai office and request for LE.
You'll also need to tick and send credit card upgrade/enhancement form.

so c2c LE on hdfc is possible or not ?
i asked them for my moneyback+ to millinea upgrade they ask for physcial form fill and post them.. not taking the upgrade request over email..
any suggestion..

Branch staff are telling me if I want to go through c2c method I can close this card and than apply by c2c. Not doing it since cibil will unnecessarily impacted.

don't know why but hdfc sometimes don't give any LE or upgrade offer for 1-2 years old card, personally know some people who didn't got any LE or upgrade offer in last 2 years..
i guess it is better to close and apply again in this case..

some people got LE in 7 months

my card is also 8 months old , no LE no upgrade offer yet

Same mine is 1 year old still no offer given.
