[LE] on Amex Plat Travel CC without any Document Check

I recently got a LE on my ICICI Rubyx and wanted to increase the same on Amex on a C2C basis and so I called them. The service rep said that they do not do on C2C basis and so since I was already connected on the call, I asked, what's the process in other approach, she said that they need to check on the System, asked for my Gross income, shared that. She did the LE. 3.31L -> 4.97L. No documents asked, no CIBIL Hit. New Limit Reflecting already on the NB.

The cooldown period is 6 months for requesting another LE.
So, if you folks have not seen an LE in the last 6 months on your AmEx card. Give it a try, no harm in trying anyway.

I am assuming you have Android. When you bring your phone to POS terminal, just ensure NFC is turned on and their AmEx App is opened. It will automatically do the payment. If you want to do it without the app opened. Then you need to set it as default payment app, (I have set google pay as default payment and Amex I open app to pay when I need to).

I used to do this like in 2021 around covid time when Tap to Pay was not even that common. This was a good conversation starter. Then I switched phones and put that number in an iPhone and we all know how good they are with NFC Payments. -_-

Thanks a lot. Shall try it. I was confused a I didn't find this option on the Amex app on my phone. Yes, I have a Samsung S21 ultra.

i have been to established food chains such as sweet bengal and they dont have amex enabled pos
and wholesale markets in mumbai dont keep pos

I had referred 1 on Kiwi. Uska reject ho gaya. Ulta mujhe gaali de ke gaya. As such after Dec it won't be as lucrative 😅
