I guess they do randomly. I was using less than 5% of my total limit. They gave a good LE. My father was having apay with 7.10 lakhs limit, he used only 1 or 2 times for very small transactions, still he got only 20k LE, now he has 7.30 lakhs limit. Just few days before Diwali(2022), he got LE from 6.90 lakhs to 7.10 lakhs. So from my experience, they give LE randomly. What is approximate usage? People are huge enhancements on apay cards. Is this based on usage or they do it randomly?
There is no specific criteria since this is pre approved LE... You can only play with variables here... Do some transactions every few months... Apply Apay (they usually increase the limit for this mostly before sale) but after Apay your chance for upgrades are less.I have been using this card for last 2 years bt no LE for so long please help what can I do for LE as I have to purchase appliance worth 1L
I already have APAY thinking to close both cards as both are worthless with such low limitsThere is no specific criteria since this is pre approved LE... You can only play with variables here... How much is ur limit and why close it?? Its a LTF card so ur not paying anything then why close it? If u dont use it then just put it in side and use it once every 3 4 minthsI already have APAY thinking to close both cards as both are worthless with such low limits
I have several cards and tracking every card is very difficult and due to low limit I am not liking the cardHow much is ur limit and why close it?? Its a LTF card so ur not paying anything then why close it? If u dont use it then just put it in side and use it once every 3 4 minths
Yh tracking several cards is a hassle i understand but i wont recommend close apay as it is a pretty good card and even if u dont use it it wont cost u anything and if u close it ur total credit will take a hit ur history will take a hit and icici gives crazy LE offers on apay i personally got LE from 80k to 420k so i would suggest u not to close it but after all its all ur decision to takeI have several cards and tracking every card is very difficult and due to low limit I am not liking the card
Right now only thing u can do is wait closing this will not help u anyway and after seeing latest LE offer i think icici gives LE offer every 3 months so Knows u might get 5x 6x offer next timeActually got depressed by looking that so many people got LE but I didn’t even got it for 20-30k while my other cards have a limit of 2-3L
Yes they would definitely increase the limitRight now only thing u can do is wait closing this will not help u anyway and after seeing latest LE offer i think icici gives LE offer every 3 months so Knows u might get 5x 6x offer next time
very true. there rp rounding off system is also wierd. even if I make a ₹1499/- transaction and amsupposed to receive 1% rp then I'll be receiving 14 rp (1499*1%) they just consider the actual whole numberJust ICICI Bank things 😜View attachment 11621
No they consider floor of 1% of any transaction - same behaviour by SBI for Cashbackvery true. there rp rounding off system is also wierd. even if I make a ₹1499/- transaction and amsupposed to receive 1% rp then I'll be receiving 14 rp (1499*1%) they just consider the actual whole number
Same with every bank where they consider whole number. For ex: Axis bank.very true. there rp rounding off system is also wierd. even if I make a ₹1499/- transaction and amsupposed to receive 1% rp then I'll be receiving 14 rp (1499*1%) they just consider the actual whole number
for a transaction of ₹551/- SBI credits me 6 rp (1% reward rate) they round off to the next whole number if it's above 0.50No they consider floor of 1% of any transaction - same behaviour by SBI for Cashback
Probably trash card like simply clink or simply save does thatfor a transaction of ₹551/- SBI credits me 6 rp (1% reward rate) they round off to the next whole number if it's above 0.50
my apay card doesn't get cashback on decimals!🙁 yours does? the decimal figures just show up on the Amazon app. in the actual statement rp's are rounded off.Same with every bank where they consider whole number. For ex: Axis bank.
However same ICICI's Apay card gets Cashback on decimal as well. So it depends on the product.
