HDFC Credit Cards Less online offer for HDFC CC

Hi,

I see very less offer with HDFC CC compared to any other bank CC. This may be because of Apps I use. The only offer I have seen is on Swiggy Dineout. But would like to know if others are noticing 10% offers on HDFC CC in other Apps. This are some of the offer I have seen/used in other CC.

Zepto - Kotak, ICICI
Myntra - HSBC Live
Apollo - ICICI, IDFC
Amazon Fresh - ICICI

I have seen Axis offers on travel sites also. Off course same goes with Amex which has also almost zero offers on Apps.

Myntra rocked till yesterday by hdfc with huge discounts upto 10x on infinia, you can guess the discount

Offers are to attract more to get the credit cards.

HDFC already has the most customers, and is on number one for many quarters/years, followed by SBI, ICICI and AXIS.

Hence it is clear that SBI,ICICI and AXIS are on the run to number 1 position. Hence more offers. Once anyone reach the position and consolidate their seat, they will also cut down the offers

Recently the margins mi8 have thinned out, hence HDFC partnering with Flipkart for BBD, and now rolling out many LTF cards.

Also HDFC have their smartbuy portal, which is still valuable for high end users, and to the normal users (till recent deval)

HDFC is offering discounts of 12-13% on most OTA's for both domestic and International flights, though forcing into EMI transactions

They still are tying up with HDFC for their high end devices, like s24 ultra and tab S10.

Also via their smartbuy/card features they eventually had given decent value back to the customer.

You are right. Hence, already using other cards and happy with the returns. Have Kotak and Axis which I used at Myntra for 10% and regularly using SBI and Axis for 10% on Amazon. who needs HDFC?

If hdfc don't give special perks to card holders having their top most card then it will be like icici who give similar discount in all their cards except Amazon one which is specifically for Amazon only.

Nowadays I feel like I never see Axis offers anywhere except on Eazydiner. HDFC is everywhere still.

HDFC has EMI offers almost everywhere but not on upfront payment. Coming to Myntra, HSBC is running 20% upfront discount offer that would beat any 5x/10x offer in reward point. Take example of Zepto, which is showing staggering growth in Qcom, you won't typically find an HDFC offer. You will get a 10-12% offer on many CC. This could be because HDFC is tied with Swiggy. But in general, my take is HDFC bank is trying to run it tight post merger.

Travel offers with HDFC are very rare (not considering the EMI offers). You might occasionally find some on Samsung/ Apple/ Flipkart.
