Regalia Gold Limit Increase for Regalia Gold after 6 months

Hi All,

I got Regalia Gold in the month of March-2024(16th March) and have been using it since then, I have completed the milestones and have already spent a little over 4 Lac since then, the limit I was offered then was 1.5L, I was short of limit last month and had to top-up money on card to keep using it.

I also took a UPI Rupay card as secondary card in July with shared limit.

I mailed HDFC regarding limit increase for regalia gold to Grievance.Redressalcc@hdfcbank.com a week back and they responded that they are unable to increase the limit for now.

Can anyone confirm when I will be eligible for a limit increase, will it be from March 2024 (when I got Regalia) or will it be from July (when I got RuPay card).

It is ideal to wait for at last a year to follow natural selection. If you ask LE yourself, given your card age it will be declined. Wait for the system to offer it.

I think so now too, I have used billpay extensively and still use platinum DB Card to pay bills via unipay. I think it might be coming soon but last month I exhausted 100% of the limit. So I was curious.

I always send limit enhancement request (physical letter, enhancement form, last 3 months salary slip) to chennai office. Have done 3 times in 3 years and always got an enhancement but the process takes around 1-2 months.

I used to be around 10-20% only. This time was worse. 3.3L to 3.5L so around 6% but better than denial.

Does the balance in saving account affect credit limit enhancement 🤔. My wife has regelia cc. For short time there was 50L, she instantly received LE from 3L to 13L and when the amount was removed the LE mail stopped coming. And no LE offers now.

Oh, alright, I will wait for their offer first then, maybe once they increase 10-20% they won't increase it for a while.

Hello, everyone, happy to report that after 1 month of back and forth emails, HDFC increased the limit by 50K, not great but good enough for now, but in case if I were to get regular LE offer, will it be available 6 months from now, or will I be eligible anytime and it doesn't matter ?
