I have been collecting Amazon Pay GV from Amazon/Smartbuy using my HDFC Millenia. And recently found that others apps like Dominos and Rapido also accept Amazon pay balance as a payment method. So essentially we are getting atleast 5% cashback using the Amazon pay balance on a lot of other apps where it wouldn't be possible otherwise. As this 5 percent can be earned by anyone with a HDFC card/payzapp, this will be very beneficial for those with entry level cards.

Example: I have found that paying Jio Fiber bills from MyJio using Amazon Pay balance as the most rewarding as its bill can't be paid from any other apps since Jio fiber isn't on BillDesk.

Guys,
I have a HDFC Ergo health insurance premium soon to be due this month.
I asked HDFC Ergo but they refused to give me the payment link to pay with AGVs.
I tried to pay in Apay with HDFC Ergo general insurance (health) , it says incorrect policy number. I know it's correct.
Any option/app to pay it via AGVs?
Hi @vine Were you able to get it done using Apay? I'm buying this tomorrow or day after. Want to buy vouchers only if there's an option.

Don't buy the vouchers.
Hdfc ergo don't give the link with Apay wallet option.
They did share with one another person in the forum. But they didn't share with me.
HDFC life insurance allows paying with AGVs but not HDFC Ergo. Different company, different rules.

Does it not work directly on Amazon app?

Just bought directly from HDFC site. Apay is there

Update: Many apps do not allow partial payment through amazon pay and the remaining through net banking or UPI.
Most of them need full amount to be available in amazon pay wallet.

But today I came across MyJio, while doing mobile recharge, I paid Rs 236.82 in Amazon pay wallet, and remaining amount via UPI.
This helps to clear Amazon pay wallet from decimal values and keep it whole numbers in rupees.

Maybe we can add - "Partial Payment using Apay wallet allowed" in the original wiki post to the list of apps.

Does anyone knows Home centre mobile app or website allows Apay for payment? I have DCB but it doesn't accept Diners cards in this day and age. Looking for a way out to buy online.

You can try yourself. Go till payment stage, if amazon pay is shown, it will sure accept.

Or go for offline smartbuy youchers of Homecentre.
