I have a gold loan worth 2.5l in SBI. It is reported as 100% utilisation in cibil report. I guess Gold is secured loan. Is that be the reason for rejection of credit cards.

does your utilisation remain 100% every month? What has been your score last 3 months?

OneCard (SBM Bank co-branded) now reports its FD backed CC as "Secured Credit Card".
This is happening since past 6-7 months. Earlier it used to be reported as just Credit Card.

But am curious what's the impact of this reporting status.
Also is there any impact due to difference between secured credit card and just credit card.

better post a screenshot from your Cibil
along with name of the card, variant of card (visa/master/rupay) , Applied channel ( app, website, branch visit, ivr sales, e.t.c )

that even if we take a secured credit cards from below banks they are reported as unsecured credit cards only. (or) you have doubt about these companies whether what they actually reports.

these banks reports as unsecured even if card is secured (SBI, IDFC personal experience)
