Which code share Airline from Axis B group can used for London to Mumbai return ticket?
Thanks vistara is not available after 12th November.Air India and Vistara direct flights will give the best redemption value for this route.
Try Etihad via Flying BlueOther than Air India,
Which code share Airline from Axis B group can used for London to Mumbai return ticket?
Thanks for the help, now you really frightened me about air FranceVirgin Atlantic is also a part of Sky Team Alliance - Flying Blue. You can check if Virgin Atlantic flights are bookable through Flying Blue miles.
Word of caution : Flying Blue has numerous cases of tickets being cancelled for people who never fly through FB then transfer miles for only redemption.
Then nobody will convert to Air France KLMbut isn't the tax component high in flying blue.. approx 200euro
tax component is cheap in Air India( Category B) for using ur Axis Points. But the point value reduces. Then nobody will convert to Air France KLM
Yes 38000 miles one way or 76000 miles for London to Mumbai return flighttax component is cheap in Air India( Category B) for using ur Axis Points. But the point value reduces.
Yeah. Then book with Air India. Also, AI currently has a sale, and you can snag a good cash deal. And If you are looking to burn points, go with Air India, as booking through Qantas or Flying Blue will require about the same miles but the taxes are very high. If you want better value, you need to look at List A, but I'm guessing you've exhausted the limit like the rest of us.Thanks vistara is not available after 12th November.
I want for Jan Feb
Air India - I don't know as I mainly travel on AF/KLM.Thanks for the help, now you really frightened me about air France
What about Air India, do they also cancel tickets for those who have never flown?
You may like to check on AF/KLM booking using miles. Round trip economy should be below 60K miles plus 22K INR in taxes (BOM-LHR)Air India miles are worth 50 paisa, because 76000 miles + tax is equivalent to Rs. 45000
Revenue return fare is around 45000 on Virgin Atlantic and British Airways
Virgin Atlantic Mumbai to London return flights always needed 20000 miles but the taxes are more than 30000It’s off season on Flying Club in Jan, Feb.
10K points needed.
~200£ taxes.
PS:
I’ve sounded out a senior contact in VA to put in a word about adding Flying Club (FC) as a transfer partner to Axis Horizon and Axis Olympus as a continuation of the previous Citi arrangement.
I’ve told him how FC is a much sought after FFP amongst points and miles enthusiasts.
That with Citi gone, how only Amex remains a transfer partner.
He said he’ll share feedback with HQ.
Then nobody will convert to Air France KLM
I think it may be reasonable, because Air India takes 17775, approximately the sameSuch statement for just 200 Euros of Taxes? 😆
