Looking for Rupay Credit Card Suggestions

I am looking for a Rupay credit card with good reward rate. I’m okay with paying annual fee as long as it’s worth it. My monthly spends on UPI are typically 75K+ (mostly vendor payments, and Rupay CC works for those - I have already checked).

I’m looking for no cashback restrictions tied to specific categories (like dining or travel); as said, it will mostly be for vendor payments using UPI QR scan.

I understand with my spend type; something like a milestone based card will be best. So any current options? Would be OK with travel based card as well.

I know about:
Kiwi CC. Sadly, not available in my area due to YES bank restriction. They’re offering a free 1-year Neon subscription based on my credit profile. Question: If I link my savings account or existing HDFC Rupay CC and pay through the Kiwi app, will I still earn cashback?
Tata Neu: But do not wish to be tied to Neu coins which works for Tata app family spends.

Would love to hear your suggestions or tips!

Unlocking and expiry of neu coins is horrible for tata neu.

UPI scan neu coins unlock after 1 month of the UPI scan and expire after 1 year

Bigbasket neu coins unlock after 7 days after return date and expire after (I think 1 month)

Promotional coins unlock after ?? And expire after (I think 1 month)

1mg -- unlock -- expire -- I don't know.

Croma -- unlock -- expire -- I don't know.

So on for other categories..

2) Neu coins earned through any additional promotional offers (including upfront discounts for gift cards) will have 3 months validityView attachment 78776

So two categories only, right ? 1 year and 6 months. I think that's good enough than, is there something missing due to which people are not liking this ?

The dislike is mainly due to the weird unlocking of neu coins for upi spends (its 1 month after the date of transaction) that makes it a bit confusing.
However, to neu app's credit...the expiry date for all coins is easily visible in the app

Bigbasket neucoins (or any neucoin earned) expire one year after transaction.

Any promotional neucoin like payday sale or leaque ones expires in 3 months to 4 months.

Very rarely some app might gives promotional neucoins with short validity. I have got few times from tata 1mg long back with validity of 7 days.

Now UPI ones. Earlier, 1.5 % neucoins for upi transaction were given with statement. Recently, they changed it to 1% in Neuapp and 0.5% in infinity statement. Thus they started issuing 1% neucoin with unlocking period of 1 month. I understand it is lame. But I guess there it came from.

I never found tracking difficult because I will always use neucoins first while ordering and then check neucoins credited whenever order is delivered. Any issue was mostly resolved very promptly by Neu team.

I had gala time with lot of savings with Neu app and Neu infinity. Together 40k+ neucoins in about 18 months. I am still using neu app. But switched to better saving cards for bb on Neu. For medicine, i switched back to pharmeasy. For offline, i switched to better card (except upi offline).

I joined very late to the neu party in Oct 2024. Hence the regret. Didn't get any promotional coins or other free coins. It's only the standard returns. + My ordering on tata apps like bb, 1mg, cliq, tanishq are very minimal. So overall not exciting.
I got some grocery from bb last week but the quality was bad (bb royal and bb organic both)
I think I'll stick to instamart itself.
Neu is only for UPI and maybe very occasionally bb. But not more than that for now.

Yes, I am in the same boat. I have Coral and Federal bank wave Rupay cards.
But I thought Neu infinity was better in terms of cashback, but their neu coin structure is not user friendly. that's the reason of looking for a different card/bank. I will update once I have a solution.

You should always complain if products are unsatisfactory.

I have been using bigbasket since 2012. I hardly find issues with them. I order almost all grocery, vegetables, fruits etc from them. I find difficult to switch to any of new guys because of service they have provided for this long.

Only virtual, shared limit on existing card.
