What I meant is that it looks like elite rupay variant is confirmed. The card was never there in rupay before.Existing card can be converted to Rupay at the time of renewal I guess 🤔
Oh, that sounds great ✨What I meant is that it looks like elite rupay variant is confirmed. The card was never there in rupay before.

Can anyone check if they are able to convert?.
How did you get it ltf?Recently converted LTF Elite Mastercard to Rupay by simply calling the customer care.
However, they removed the LTF status of the new card at first. I then had to file a complaint and then they restored it to LTF.
There was an offer for IIT studentsHow did you get it ltf?

Once you receive the new rupay card on your SBI Card app, there is an onboarding process, where you are asked to acknowledge the type of charges levied on your card. At first it will show an annual fee of 4999, and you musn't acknowledge that. Instead, on the app itself, you can register a complaint regarding these charges and explain that your mastercard was LTF and this new rupay card must be LTF too, otherwise, you will close the card.Where to check LTF status?
I also got MC variant which i want to convert to RUPAY for upi
Then it not possible for me, i had 8 year old simplyclick, which was going to expire itself in December, but after Elite application approval, they replaced everything with elite, and there is no onboarding process happened for me. My card isn't even dispatch but i can see that in app, even use it right now.Once you receive the new rupay card on your SBI Card app, there is an onboarding process, where you are asked to acknowledge the type of charges levied on your card. At first I received a generic reply stating that my card is not an LTF card, and thats it. Then I had to call customer care multiple times and explain the issue, which was then escalated and finally after a week or so I received an email stating that my request was successfully processed. After that when I did the onboarding again, that Annual fees was updated to 0
BTW, that is only place where you can check the LTF status of the card.
You are right. Even I could see my Elite Mastercard like you are seeing now. And when I converted to Rupay, I could again see the rupay card in the app. But there would still be an onboarding process AFTER you convert to rupay. Then it not possible for me, i had 8 year old simplyclick, which was going to expire itself in December, but after Elite application approval, they replaced everything with elite, and there is no onboarding process happened for me. Any other way to know its LTF status?
In the app, on your profile page or somewhere look for card setup or something like that, and then you will need to follow some steps.. At the end you will be able to see if the card is chargeable or notYou are right. Even I could see my Elite Mastercard like you are seeing now. I was unable to get status for my elite card. However it was never charged since i joined so i believe its a LTF@rrsji Did you had to go throw the same process as @adnanpasha3711 for the MasterCard to RuPay conversion?
I mean did you too get the new card as a paid card and then they made it LTF after raising a complaint?
@adnanpasha3711 when you receive the new card (Rupay), what was the status of the old MasterCard? Was it still active or it already got closed?
I am afraid of the following scenario where they close the LTF Elite MasterCard after sending the Paid Elite RuPay card and then if they deny to make the Paid Elite RuPay card LTF, that would mean we loose the Elite card.
Or, you can see in the " Track Service request section" one SR raised as "PCT ID to be changed "..Once you receive the new rupay card on your SBI Card app, there is an onboarding process, where you are asked to acknowledge the type of charges levied on your card. As per my email and telephonic interaction with customer care, the new card will be chargeable by default as the PCT ID would change. I was also informed that only the annual fee would be charged in the first month of the next year (counted from the earlier Elite card's activation month) for the flipped card.I was unable to get status for my elite card. I called CC yesterday and the person said flipping from MC to Visa/RuPay is currently not possible and even if they do it, the new card would be chargeable and it cannot be made LTF.Or, you can see in the " Track Service request section" one SR raised as "PCT ID to be changed "..
like below...
However, This will only be applicable in the cases of an existing chargeable card to be changed to LTF

Call CC and directly ask the person to connect your call to the supervisory desk (don't waste time at the first level. They will keep saying new card can't be made LTF).Hmm you are right, i called CC today and got that it is not LTF now
@adnanpasha3711 , can you please brief me once again on how to convert it to LTF again?
