I've read somewhere here that we need to close all BoB cards before applying again for Eterna card...is it so??

no.. i only had premier & I closed that. not sure but I think you need to close all cards, it's like new to bank customer.

I have some questions if legends can answer.

- Can this card be converted into the Rupay variant? Has anyone done this? The mistake I made was that I did not read the community post, what variant is good, and all and applied VISA variant.

- How to maximize returns from this card? My mostly spends goes to Diners Black. I was searching for a card with lounge access, as my Diners card was denied at Terminal 2 of Delhi airport for the first time in the past five years, and I stumbled upon this card with a tag of unlimited lounge access, obviously with spend criteria.

T2 was closed for some time, it opened recently, it might be possible that they were just starting after long closure, could you tell the exact date why did you try accessing T2 lounge?

My Premier card isn't yet closed. When I try calling their toll free number, no IVR option is eligible as my number isn't registered with them anymore.

Last interaction was with their card closure team who asked me the reason why I'm closing the card and they said that we'll get back to you and there's been no response since then. What should I do in this scenario?

Shall I email to one level up or PNO to look into this issue?

When does the reward points update in the bobcard application after the transaction? I did my first transaction on Amazon on Saturday and reward points are still 0.

Also, I faced an issue booking train ticket with Amazon. Amazon payment gateway would not just load when Eterna (Rupay) was selected but it loaded fine for all my other credit cards (Non rupay).

Thinking if Amazon transaction don't get any reward points I should switch to Visa/Mastercard from Rupay.

true majority times u wont earn points ... even for lounge 40k spending criteria is there.. if its in rupay variant okish u can use for upi payment

BOB has stopped showing rewards on a per-transaction basis. From last month its not showing.

whether it’s Amazon or Flipkart, you’ll get rewards everywhere — except on grocery purchases, because BOB has excluded grocery MCC codes from rewards.

Try with card closure on the ivr. You will be directly connected to the customer care.
