Bank of Baroda is offering me only the Easy and Select credit cards, even though I was expecting at least the BOB Premier card.

I mainly want a lifetime free (LTF) BOB card for instant discount offers, and I will probably use the card only once or twice a year.

Now I am confused:

Should I take the Select card, or wait and apply later for a better card?

Most importantly, is this card really LTF? The screenshot shows a condition of ₹70,000 spend, which makes the LTF status confusing

I have emailed customer care to upgrade my LTF Premier (VISA) to LTF BOB Eterna.

2 days back, I purchased Samsung Fit 3 watch. There was 10% off on BOB Cards. I tried my BOB Snapdeal LTF hoping to get the 10% instant discount plus 2.5% as reward points. But the flipkart payment page was recognising Snapdeal credit card (RUPAY) as on DIners network. So had to use th BOB Premier which gives just 0.5% as reward points.

I was thinking if I get Eterna, I could use it on Flipkart/Amazon and get the instant discount plus 3.75% as reward points

What's the issue if its showing diners or jcb or whatever card network logo ?

My vKYC is failing with pan card photo mismatch. I applied for photo change but its taking a long time, it keeps showing under process in ITD.

What can i do so that i dont miss the bob ltf? It shows approved only vkyc is pending

ah, no option but to wait for the PAN card... someone i know faced this issue... their physical pan was delivered within a week of application!

All other banks have updated this except BoB. On RuPay CC UPI, you get the same rewards as direct credit card transactions — Axis Bank, HSBC, HDFC, SBI Card and I think ICICI too, Jupiter–CSB Bank credit cards etc.

UPI transaction rewards/cashback are divided into three categories, similar to direct credit card transactions:

1. Online UPI transactions
2. UPI transactions via bank partner tieup apps/websites
3. Offline UPI – Scan & Pay (If there is any bank tie-up or an offer based on offline MCC code then offline transactions will also get high rewards/cashback).

Gave in to the fomo and applied for this card. Vkyc completed. Showed 2L credit limit.
Just now. Process was online and super smooth. Didn't face any glitch.

Got SMS that card is approved, last 4 digits, and despatched for delivery.

Now it's working properly. I entered the card details correctly last time itself. After entering the first 6 letters it was showing diners symbol at the end of the box.
Anyway, good that they have corrected everything

Few days ago I tried to apply for LTF eterna, after filling all details and a cibil hit, they denied saying i was not eligible. Today got a WhatsApp mesage from bob card saying *Your Aadhaar has been verified, and you're now just a few clicks away* from getting your own BOBCARD.

Get going to complete the application to enjoy Cashbacks, Discounts, 5X Rewards, EMI Options & UPI convenience with a RuPay BOBCARD. So when i tried to apply again, after entering mobile no and otp, they showed me two card, bob easy and select both lft. What to do now? Continue with the application. Will ther be any cibil hit again?
