Made a big mistake of opening BoI savings account online

If you are aware of their DC rewards for Credit card bill payments and want to open online account then stop. Don't do it. It's not worth time.

My experience:
- KYC done immediately and received account number next day
- But then complete silence regarding DC etc
- Classic DC shipped after 2 weeks via Indian Post
- No other details received, no passbook, no joining kit nothing
- DC activation and PIN generation only possible in their ATM. No online, no SMS no IVR options.
- And the worst? Their app. 90% it shows some error and asks to relaunch. And if I get lucky and proceed further with registration, their is gets stuck forever in SMS verification. Wasted so much time on this still no success.
- NetBanking registration cannot be done without Customer ID. Which you won't know without passbook or App registration.

This is joke of a bank. I hope govt merges it.

Every time you launch the app you need to give location permission
Location if turned off the app won't let you login

Talking about dc - i opened offline, given form on 3rd oct, account opened 16 oct, dc form submitted 25 oct, dc received yesterday. Calculate how many days gone by.
This is how 3 tier PSU banks work

Passbook to be collected from branch
Customer id can be seen on app or passbook.

Minimum 3 visits required to branch for start using RSDC.
