Magnus application on hold

I had applied a week back and everything was going smooth and today i see the application is on hold. What could be the reason?

Last Saturday i got a call from a random person who said he was from axis bank and he was at my office. He said he asked people there if they knew me and nobody knew me!!

This is pretty weird way of verifying my employer and expecting people present in the floor to know me as there are at least 2k people working in the building. To verify they could just go by a proper channel or ask me to mail from my office I'd!!

Anyways, it would be great if anyone can help me out with this!!

I applied and when i ask customer card regarding my application status , he said its in “ process”.

Hello @Alwàys_Bélîevé_Yøursélf🎯 brother, somehow 2 application numbers got generated.
1. One number - Status is on hold. This number was given to me by the person who came to do my KYC
2. Second Number - Says application received on 24th and no more updates after that

It's normal to get 2 application number and usually both are not updated properly. Did anyone from Bank call you to set up your kyc time? If so, call them for accurate update.

Damn axis must be having some crazy internal systems.

Yes i asked the lady for an update. She just asked me to wait.

I'm new here. I wanted to apply for Axis Magnus through C2C method. How do I approach this? I have HDFC Infinia & Indusind Legend currently.
Also, a noob question, is the existing card taken as a base point for issuing new? The existing card still remains funtional?

Followed up with the lady who was coordinating, she recommended for going C2C, gave her the statement for C2C. Still no updates, however, got an email saying "Thank you for your application...... Wait for 72 hours"

I too gave my card statement for C2C basis for Magnus. The document was collected on 20th June and the Kyc guy said the card wud be processed within 5 days but no update since then. The status tracker just says - application received on 20th June - and nothing after that.
Need your help here, mate!

In my case, it took 20 days to process. I would advise you to wait and stop checking the tracker. 🤣
