Just a thought.. Like People calculate 5 Points for 150 spend on Infinia which gives base return of 3.33% We forget that if we Swipe for 149 Rs we will not get any reward points or if we sipe for 299 we get just 1 reward point. Its worse for Magnus as its calculated for every 200 Rs. So there is some slippage of reward points as well which we should keep in mind 🙂

Can you clarify what do you mean by JAL / JMR seems risky? I am considering JAL as Turkish is pain to deal with and united is far too expensive on millage.
I was facing some issues with award flight availability checking and there is 60 days points booking limit too. Itt was mainly because I never used it and didn't find many success stories here either (probably as most people are under that 60 days period).

But now 60 days are over for me, and it seem fine. Not too lucrative, but certain sectors seem good. Still not good enough to park it without any travel plan. I think it allows booking for family, but not for friends.

Vistara and Accor is simplest to use and have used many times. So that feels a safe choice.

RIP Magnus. Some brilliant peoduct manager laumched it, got promoted, new guy comes in amd screws it up. Axis will do some damage control later when the will seetoo many cancellations, but it will be too little too late. Typical boom to bust product cycle.

JAL seems lucrative though it's very difficult to find the seats.

JAL/JMR shines when you add multiple sectors - though they have to be with the same airline. Can be used for booking tickets for family members but not friends. Further points between family members can be combined by creating a family account. Though its has a 1000 points initiation fees and for any update after creation.
JAL seems lucrative though it's very difficult to find the seats.
Try to search for award seats elsewhere (either on partner's website OR UA for *A, BA/AA/QF for OW & DL for ST OR paid websites) note down the dates and then lookup on JAL.

@anirban.choudhury i have one spend to do of 60k on specific 31st july. already spent 50k on magnus. my bill date is 1st. will my spend consider for milestone for july if spent 60k doesn't billed on 1st? and will get benefit by 10th aug.? @TechnoFino
Very risky. If it has to be done on 31 and u willing to take the risk do it early hours like at 12.01 midnight. Gives them some time to process plus it’s a workin day Monday. U might just get away with it. Best is do everything 3 to 4 days before month end.
