Hi guys, I had some 3L points out of which i converted 1.25L to Club ITC (which i will convert to Mariott).

I am thinking what to do with other points. I have never used miles before. Me and my wife have to travel to Dubai every year from Delhi so which airlines transfer should i go for assuming I want to travel via business class (never travelled in business class before and would like to try it).

I hope you're aware that the ITC to Mariott conversion is capped at 15k points/quarter, total 60k/year, with the cap, its hard to cover even 1 night per quarter in most marriotts that I have noticed recently.

For Business class flights to Dubai, you can use Vistara for easy and straightforward redemption, they definitely fly out of Mumbai, check for Delhi.

You cannot open salary account if your company is not listed in there website. I tried opening Priority account a few months ago and my compnay was not listed. My RM told me I cannot proceed in that case. Ended opening a liberty account then.

You can convert into salary account through Axis mobile app by uploading Salary slip

Emirates is not a partner of Axis. You would have to go through Marriot route leading to bad transfer ratio. So you should check Etihad, they have good availability and you can take free transfer bus from Abu Dhabi to Dubai.

Incorrect. You can upgrade your account to salary if your monthly salary is deposited in the account. This is pretty straightforward. For me, they automatically upgraded my account to salary and then burgundy salary without even asking for it.

One way is to get burgundy private status and then downgrade and the card becomes paid card.

This is not possible. Burgundy private card is an all-in-one card and comes only with Burgundy private banking relationship with the bank.

Best u transfer to Qatar Airways or Turkish Airlines. Between these two for Dubai, best is Qatar and best part is Qatar operating its first class seats to Dubai, n yes u can book that via miles. and book in advance for these miles tickets u will get btr deals with Qatar.

I did not have an axis bank account. Had to open one. Without my company name listed I could not open account as a salary account. After opening a new account “probably” you can convert if your salary gets credited there.

With Singapore Airlines Krisflyer's monthly promos you could have flights to Singapore for 14k miles one way so 28k for couple of 1-way flights or one return flight which is 35k Edge rewards.

It actually depends if u r ok with economy tickets then yes.
As I told previously also, it’s very easy to get offers on Turkish airlines, around 20,000 Miles ( not ER points ) will get u one way economy tickets from Delhi or Mumbai to European countries.
