I have an extended question about insurance rewards on Magnus.

We know that insurance RPs are restricted to 6000 ERs per transaction. That is, for Rs.1L. Imagine that I have to make a insurance premium payment of Rs.2.5L and I make it across three transactions of Rs.1L, Rs.1L, Rs.50K.

So do I receive the accelerated reward points (35 RPs per 200) after I cross the threshold of 1.5L in payment? But since ERs for insurance transactions are restricted are my accelerated points also limited to 6000 ERs? So do I have to make payments in transactions of 35K each? (Rs.35000/12*35=5950 ER). And how are RPs considered to be credited for other (non-insurance) transactions made in between? Accelerated or normal?

Or are insurance payments not considered for accelerated RPs at all?

So many questions, so little explanation from Axis. Frustrating.

This is a tricky question. No one knows the answer as of now. In September when it is implemented then we can know more.

Does anyone know the escalation email of Axis? I received my Magnus card in June. Made transactions of over 1L in June, but did not get reward points yet (got them for July though). I checked thrice with customer care, every time they confirmed I am eligible for the milestone benefits but asked me to wait till 4th August 2023. Sent an email to premium.experience@axisbank.com asking the status of my milestone rewards and they replied saying that my transactions are not eligible for milestone rewards.
I shared with them the summary of my transactions for June (where I am crossing 1L total spends) and asked them to point me to the transaction, which is not eligible towards milestone rewards, and haven't received any response yet even after 7 days.
I have cross checked, all my spends are genuine and eligible. Nothing is excluded.

I initiated a transfer of some points to miles conversion into krisflyer on 28th july but miles still not received yet.Krisflyer account is verfied and have done a transfer earlier as well.
Anyone facing same issue?

Bro as of my knowledge with specific to Krisflyer it’s taking some time. For me it took almost 7 days time, and on 8th day received successfully transferred MSG 👍.

Question: Are utility payments (electricity bills) via amazon pay still considered for Magnus milestone of 1 lac spends per month? I am sorry this may have been discussed before but with so many changes recently, I have lost track of what is included and what's not.
If ur paying ur utility bills via Amazon Pay how is it even connected to Magnus CC ?
Buy the vouchers on Gyftr and add to ur Amazon pay account n pay. It’s basic common sense bro.

Do we have any short summary on where to transfer magnus reward for maximum benefit ?
Bro don’t look for benefit look into where u like to utilize Hotel or airline miles.
Only for benefit it’s btr to transfer to Accor. U will get directly 1.8Rs per point.
But I recommend for airlines miles, as its best option for last minute travel plans especially for international travel, if considering the flight tickets cost for travel at last minute some times u get even a valuation of Rs 1 or even .80 it’s btr than buying flight tickets at higher cost.

N sorry I can’t comment on hotels points game as I prefer miles game as I am ok to stay at AIR BNB as we’ll for my travel not in to 5 star Hotel n stuff for time being.😉

What is the award seat availability for last minute booking. Also please share some details about cancellation charges for award seats for Turkish, United, Vistara and Singapore airlines

These days Airbnb charge exorbitant cleaning charges I tried many times I'm happy with hotel

cancellation charges for award seats for Turkish
It’s around 100 USD I guess, but can’t confirm as I never did it. That’s the reason I book it when my travel is confirmed.
Regarding the last minute availability on Turkish and Singapore airlines it depends on time data and flexibility, usually it’s tough for business class but I never faced any problems for economy or premium economy. I usually book economy for small trips like 2 to 4 hrs economy, more than that premium economy. If I planned early then business class.
Note:- it’s tough to get business class on Singapore for last minute, but Turkish u will have good chances to get business class tickets even last minute bookings.
