Most banks doesn’t provide any joining benefits
There is none for Emeralde or any other high value card except Reserve , Infinia
So removal of joining benefits is ok , and mostly all Magnus users hit the milestone 😀

I belive they cannot stop giving vouchers for annual fee, that could lead to a massive close of magnus.

They won't stop vouchers. But they may offer something that is less lucrative for us. Honestly, I wouldn't mind points equivalent to fees.

If at all it is legit, I would suggest cut all ties with Axis Bank immediately. I mean, what kinds of idiots are thinking that it is a good idea to charge Rs.10000+GST with no benefit for a card that gives 1.2% return? My otherwise useless SBI Prime card gives 2-2.5% returns easily with only 3k per year! Hell, my IDFC Select card gives 1.2% and that too LTF! SC Ultimate suddenly looks like Amex Plat in front of Magnus.

If this is how Axis Bank is going to do business, God knows what they are going to ask you for dealing with your money!

The other devaluations, I could still live with but 5:1 transfer ratio killed this card.

Than doing 5:1 partner transfer, better direct redemption of edge reward points,
