Axis Magnus Magnus to Magnus Burgundy upgrade

Here is my experience with upgrading from Magnus to Magnus Burgundy. My old Magnus for up for renewal in mid December but Axis insisted that I would only become eligible for upgrade in late December. I tried to convince them to either fast track the upgrade or waive off annual fees on old Magnus. They did not agree. So I closed the card just 3 days prior to renewal. Then I applied for Magnus Burgundy in early Jan and it was approved and delivered quickly.

Not sure what to say about Axis’s policies in this regard and how much time, money and goodwill they wasted in the exercise.

if i directly apply burgundy via 30L FD..
Is it become LTF for me??
Any one had directly apply the card?

I got Normal Magnus in Jan 2025, Started heavily using it from April 2025. Also started Burgundy A/c on 5Apr 25. RM said will have to wait for 45 days from 1 full month of maintenance of 10L AMB. I meanwhile fully utilized the Group A transfer Limit by transferring to Aeroplan. Got Magnus for Burgundy Upgrade on 28 June. But they have not revised Group A limit to 2L. The remaining balance limit from normal Magnus has been carried forward post upgrade to M4B. Is this normal?
