I invested thru mfcentral as well on 4th june. When groww orders was not executing that time.
Mfcentral directly sends payment request by clearing corporation that's why the nav was perfect for mfcentral txn.

Only for mutual fund. Stocks, ETF etc. i buy from Dhan.

It depends on what time you add money. Basically if your money reaches the AMC before (I think) 3PM, then that day's NAV is considered, otherwise next day's NAV will be considered.

Edi: just notice, OP mentioned time, lol nevermind.

I had the same issue, bough MF through coin (zerodha) in lumpsum on 4th before the cut off time and was given 5th June NAV. Is this intentional from fund houses, got dinged 5%

No one will compensate the retail investor. Nothing will happen

Yes... nothing will happen now, but hopefully this SEBI enquiry will lead to something better in the future. May be better regulations so that such things do not repeat
