Hi,

Great news! Housing.com now accepts rent payments from AMEX Credit Cards, offering a more convenient method for transactions.

It appears that this service is currently available for two categories: "Home Service" and "Education Payments."

A beneficial option is to consider their Credit Plus Subscription, which reduces convenience fees with each payment. By selecting the "Education Category," you can enjoy a flat 15% discount on fees, lowering the convenience fee to just 1.4%, the lowest rate available. I did total transactions of Rs 60,000 and everytime it went through unlike mobikwik which fails most of the time.

To get started, feel free to use my referral link to access Housing.com
Use my invite code "40ifh" while making your first payment to get instant discount up to ₹300. 💸
Install the app by clicking here ➡️ https://bit.ly/3TtitEt & select “Pay on Credit” on the first screen.

How much is credit plus? And did you pay rent by selecting education for lower charges?
₹199. The subscription will get you additional 10-15% off on charges. Sometimes they include 20% off on Education Fees charges. Did 15k yesterday, the app after all discount costed ₹121 extra which I received as cashback in wallet + ₹15 extra through scratch card=₹136( Paid 15121 in total from CC). Atleast the app charges get nil. Bank however charges 1% + GST = 1.18% which cannot be recovered unless you get any spend based benifits or cashback from card. As every payment comes under rent, it can't be recovered unless you got a card which is still not devalued.
The app experience is great. I've done transaction and within an hour it got settled though they claim 24 hours to settle.

Ok, the charges seem ok. In the post you say amex is supported, I am planning on that only, I don't think amex has any charges on rent. Will try it for this month's rent.

They started supporting Diners as well along with Amex. Charges are very less compaired to even current other apps for mainstream cards too. How long, that is the question.

Do we need to upload any rental agreement to make rent payments?
